Terms & conditions for parents
The rules and regulations that keep the school safe, disciplined and productive — set out in full so there are no surprises later.
Dear Parents,
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.
We sincerely thank you for choosing Peace English Medium School for your child's educational journey. It is our privilege to partner with you in nurturing your child's academic excellence, moral values and overall personality. We warmly welcome you and your family to the Peace community.
To ensure a safe, disciplined and productive learning environment, we kindly request all parents and guardians to read and adhere to the following rules and regulations.
Admission & fee policy
- Admission is confirmed only after the successful completion of the admission process and payment of the prescribed fees.
- Fees once paid are non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The school management reserves the right to revise the fee structure whenever necessary. Any changes will be communicated to parents through the appropriate channels.
- School fees must be paid on or before the due date. Continuous delay in fee payment may result in the student being restricted from attending classes until the dues are cleared.
- Parents are requested to ensure that all fee payments are properly recorded in the Fee Card or through the school's official receipt system.
Documents required for admission
- Original Transfer Certificate (TC) or School Leaving Certificate, where applicable.
- Photocopy of the previous academic year's mark sheet or report card.
- Original Birth Certificate — mandatory for Pre-KG to Grade II.
- Four recent passport-size photographs of the student.
- One passport-size photograph of the authorised visitor or guardian, along with relationship details and valid identification.
Attendance & leave
- Regular attendance is essential for the student's academic progress and overall development.
- Leave should be requested in advance through a written application from the parent or guardian, except in genuine emergencies.
- If a student is absent due to illness or any emergency, parents should record the reason in the school diary or calendar and sign it.
- Attendance on the first working day after vacations is compulsory unless prior permission has been obtained from the school.
- Excessive or unauthorised absenteeism may affect the student's academic progress and overall assessment.
Student safety & campus regulations
- Students are not permitted to leave the school premises during school hours without prior approval from the Principal or authorised school authorities. In an emergency, the parent or authorised guardian must complete the required formalities before the student is released.
- Students should not bring cash, jewellery, mobile phones, expensive gadgets or other valuable items to school. The school will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
- Students from Nursery to Grade II will be handed over only to the parent or authorised person carrying the official Pickup Card.
- Parents are requested to collect their child within 20 minutes after school dispersal.
Health & well-being
- Parents must inform the school if their child has any serious medical condition, allergy or health concern that may require special attention.
- Students suffering from contagious illnesses such as conjunctivitis, chickenpox, mumps, influenza or similar infectious diseases should remain at home until certified fit to return by a registered medical practitioner.
- Parents are encouraged to provide healthy, nutritious meals and avoid sending processed or junk food such as chips, fried snacks, soft drinks and similar items.
Discipline & conduct
- Students are expected to maintain discipline, respect teachers and fellow students, and uphold the values of honesty, responsibility and good conduct at all times.
- Any act of serious misconduct, indiscipline, violence, bullying, or behaviour that negatively affects the school environment may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or withdrawal of admission, depending on the severity of the matter.
- The school encourages students to maintain neat personal grooming. Boys should keep their hair short and tidy, and all students should maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
- Students must attend school in the prescribed uniform every day unless otherwise instructed by the school.
Parent responsibilities
- Regularly check the student's school diary and ensure that homework and assignments are completed on time.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), orientation programmes and other meetings organised by the school.
- Maintain regular communication with teachers regarding their child's academic progress and well-being.
- Support the school's efforts in fostering discipline, moral values and respect for others.
- Encourage a positive home environment that supports learning, good manners and ethical values.
Parent-Teacher Meetings
- To strengthen collaboration between parents and the school, Parent-Teacher Meetings are conducted periodically — typically once every two months.
- Meetings provide an opportunity to review academic performance, discuss behavioural and developmental progress, and address concerns with guidance for continuous improvement.
- Parents are requested to attend these meetings regularly. Schedules are communicated through circulars, SMS or other official communication channels.
School rules
- Parents and students are expected to comply with all school rules, policies and guidelines.
- The school reserves the right to modify or update its rules and regulations whenever necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution.
- Any amendments will be communicated through official school notifications.
