ICE — Intensive Care Education
Every child can learn, succeed and shine. A structured support programme for students who need more time, more attention, or a different route to the same understanding.
No child left to fall quietly behind
We recognise that every child is unique and learns at their own pace. While some students grasp concepts quickly, others may require additional time, personalised attention and continuous encouragement to reach their full potential.
To ensure that no child is left behind, we introduced ICE (Intensive Care Education) — a specially designed academic support programme for slow and special learners. This initiative provides individualised guidance, remedial instruction and consistent mentoring to help students overcome learning challenges and build confidence.
ICE is a structured learning support programme that offers additional academic assistance to students who need extra help in understanding classroom concepts, improving foundational skills and enhancing their overall academic performance. The programme focuses on identifying each student's learning needs and providing customised teaching strategies that suit their individual learning style.
Our belief is simple: every child has the ability to succeed when given the right support, care and learning environment.

Five things ICE teachers do differently
Assess honestly
Each student's strengths and learning gaps are identified precisely, rather than described in general terms.
Plan individually
An individualised learning plan is prepared, naming the specific skills to be rebuilt and the order to rebuild them in.
Teach in small groups
One-to-one or small-group instruction, so the pace genuinely follows the child rather than the timetable.
Monitor continuously
Progress is checked regularly and the plan is revised — a plan that is not working is changed, not repeated.
Reinforce positively
Continuous encouragement, because a child who believes they cannot do it will not, whatever the method.
Remedial & foundation learning
The programme strengthens understanding of core subjects by focusing on:
- Reading and comprehension
- Writing and language skills
- Mathematics fundamentals
- Science concepts
- Problem-solving techniques
- Memory improvement
- Study skills and learning strategies
Confidence building
Academic success begins with self-belief. Through motivation, encouragement and continuous support, ICE helps students:
- Overcome fear of learning
- Develop a positive attitude towards education
- Improve classroom participation
- Build self-confidence and independence
- Enjoy learning in a stress-free environment
Parent partnership
Parents play an important role in a child's learning journey. Our teachers maintain regular communication with parents to discuss progress, share learning strategies and work together to support the child's academic and personal development.
This collaborative approach ensures consistent growth both at school and at home.
Because true education is not about comparing students — it is about empowering each child to become the very best version of themselves.
Talk to us about your child
If your child has struggled elsewhere, tell us what happened. We will be honest about whether we can help.
