Friday Tarbiyati sessions
Building character, strengthening values — one session every Friday, for every student, without exception.
Nurturing, training and developing the whole person
The word “Tarbiyah” refers to nurturing, training and developing an individual in all aspects of life. Our weekly Tarbiyati sessions are designed to help students become responsible, disciplined, compassionate and God-conscious individuals who contribute positively to their families, communities and society.
We believe that education is not only about academic excellence but also about developing strong moral character, good manners and a righteous personality. Character cannot be left as a by-product of a timetable — so we give it a place in the timetable.
The primary objective of these sessions is to nurture students with Islamic values and universal moral principles while helping them develop positive habits and a strong sense of responsibility. The programme focuses on shaping students into individuals who excel academically and demonstrate integrity, respect and compassion in their daily lives.
Sixteen themes across the year
Interactive, not a lecture
Our Tarbiyati sessions are conducted in an engaging and practical manner through:
- Inspirational talks
- Qur'an and Hadith reflections
- Storytelling from the lives of the Prophets and righteous personalities
- Group discussions
- Motivational videos
- Role plays and real-life examples
- Question-and-answer sessions
- Interactive activities and presentations
These methods help students understand and apply valuable lessons in their everyday lives — the test of a Tarbiyati session is what happens on Monday, not what was said on Friday.
